Carolyn Wesner
Board Member
Carolyn Wesner, Retired Chief Operating Officer of Valley Family Health Care joined Valley Family Health Care’s Board of Directors in 2020.
She holds a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from the University of Phoenix and worked at Valley Family for fourteen years. In her early career, she was a Rotary Foundation Scholar at the University of Surrey, Guildford, England in the Department of Tourism, later working for American Express Travel Service.
Carolyn and her family members have been patients of Valley Family for many years. “We started with the Payette Dental clinic when my kids were little (sealants!) and have appreciated the excellent care received here with all the providers we have known. I tell everyone who doesn’t have a medical or dental home to come to Valley Family.”
When Carolyn is not wrapped up in Board items, she travels with her sisters or spends time with her children and grandchildren. At Christmas she enjoys singing with the Upper County Singers, and also sings with an interfaith group several times a month at local care centers. For the past nine years, Carolyn has written a weekly article in the Weiser newspaper on behalf of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, where she and her husband John are members. Oh, and she can quote Jane Austen at length.
